Hi!
When I start up the NFSU, the screen get black. But after 2 sec I get back to Windows.
Why?

This happen when you use your original cds, or backup cds with a crack?

Do you get this error also when you use your original cds without a crack?
I need to know this to check if your problem is crack releated or your PC releated.

Definately crack related. I tried the deviance cd's, applied the 1.4 patch, then used the 1.4 us no cd patch.

Same thing as that guy. It loads, two seconds of black, then back to desktop.

No no, you got it all backwards. They're a group that releases backup cd's for those of us, whose original cd's somehow got lost or broken ;)

Anyway... I wanna try the damn thing. I've got a stepson who'd probably love it, and I wouldn't mind buying it for him. But the demo does the exact same thing. And I'm not shelling out $60 just for the hell of it.

Yeah yeah, I know it sounds cheesy, but it's the way it is.

So if anyone knows why this happens, let us know.
