Hi all,
I just wanted to give thnks to the forum for helping me backup my PS2 games. I was able to backup my dvd and cd games on the FIRST try!!!!!!! THNKS!!!!!!!
On a side note, Is it possible to speed up my recording time?? Im using pauls recordnow procedure. Do u have to use the record and verify option or can u just use the record??? Whats the fastest way to backup?? Lastly, I use the 1x write. Can I use the 2x write safely??? A 4GB game takes me 1 hr to backup. Is this normal ???

yeah i burn all mine at 2x works fine :)

Yeah burning a 4gig dvd at 1x takes about 1 hour. 2x = 30 min and 4x = 15.


Make sure you have the right disc that allows for faster speeds.

Thnks for the reply's! Ill try burning at a faster speed. But how bout my other quest. Do u really need to record and verify? Can u just record for a faster burn? THnks again!!

Also, if you don't have a dvd-rom drive besides your burner, get one. Using a 16x dvd-rom is quicker and saves on the wear and tear of your burner.
