Can someone help me please with the LG DVD burner
 

I recently purchased this burner however I went to use Record Now Max and it did not recognize a recordable media device on my system, HOWEVER if I use the wizard it sees it. also I have Nero 5 and it dosen't see the dvd writer either, however I checked the device manager its definitely there, I downloaded the px upgrader but that didn't help either, Now I am thinking about getting the SONY but its 150$ more as the LG was 100$ off. Can anyone help mw with this I would be very grateful.
