Duo chip does nicely.
Well, I just installed a Duo Chip last night into a v7 ps2. Since I havent modded a ps2 in over 8 months I was a bit concerned about my skills. But after doing the first point all went well.
I must say this was a very easy chip to install. I would recommend to all you novices out there that wouldnt mind shaving off 5-6 wires of an install. My friend who the install was for just wanted to play Twisted Metal Black Online but I made him try a test dvd game as well and that too worked great. When last I left him he was playing TMBO gleefully but as he backs up more of his games Ill ask him more and more about how it works. Overall $21 with free shipping is a very good price for a modchip. Too bad it only works up to v8. Tyler! |
Nice, can it boot from the browser? 5-6 wires is amazing, I can install those myself then.

I think you misunderstood me. I meant shave off 5-6 wires. Its a 17 wire install.
Ill have to call my buddy later tonight about the boot from browser issue, he is a graveyard shift worker. I forgot to test for that. Tyler! |
Good job TD. With less wires maybe some of the No-solder, Flip Lid users will finally see the light.

Yes, the Duo boots from the browser. Performance wise it is the same as the Apple Pro but with fewer wires. Excellent chip.
