Not enough info really. It might be a Neo2.2 - at least your boot method is compatible with that chip. There is some other boot method for PS1 games which I've forgotten and which someone will no doubt come onto quickly!

what else you need to now?
or can i open my ps 2 and check? |
opening your ps2 is the only way you will find out exactually what chip you have. OPENER UP!
|
WooHoo!!!!!!!! I can just see tomorrows new posts now............
"Help Me, I opened up my ps2 to see what mod chip I have and now it doesn't work!!!!" :D |

btw my chip is neo 2.2 |
Oh well done!!! Kudos fella.. Well in that case my advice is to rip that neo 2.2 out and get a proper mod as every time u boot up a back up u hammerin another nail into yr ps2's coffin dude.

i dont sure that it will be worth it (putting anew chip) couse it will cost me 100$ and than i will be broke :(
|
Chips like the Duo and Apple Pro cost $20-21 with free shipping.
The only difference between the 2 is that the Duo is only 17 wires. Tyler! |
Mate trust me ottoman is right u are putting a nail through your ps2. THE NEO 2.2 KILLS! your ps2 laser its not good mate get rid of it before your ps2 dies and has to be thrown away i warning you beware! GET RID OF IT
