Judge Dredd
 

Hi, all,
I have JUST joined and in desperation am asking a question about the Dredd vs Death game: I have only just started the game but cannot get the door to open at the end of the "agility" section - where Dredd has to go over and under objects. Despite finishing this room any number of ways, the door will not open at the end and consequently I cannot even START Tthe game.
Is this a problem with my game or PC, please?
I have downloaded the latest official patch and this has had no effect. Is there even a cheat code so I can walk THROUGH the door in order to play the game further?

Please help, someone.

Don't know if it's the right level though...

u have to get the judge that is standing nearby to accompany you. i think he's one set of stairs away. he goes with you and when u get in the lift he doesn't so he must be needed to unlock the doors of the lift.

Unable to get through training!!
 

I cannot even get past the "up and under" training start to the game. Judge Hershey has told Dredd to go over or under the obstacles, and she stands at the start watching. At the end is a door, but it remains on "red" and won't open no matter how many times I do it. Does she have to go with me? All she does is tell Dredd to do the course - one over, one under and an up-and-over obstacle, without doing this I can't even BEGIN the game proper.

Please help!

ok. i tried the training again. i can't see where u r going wrong. u jump over something, then crouch under, then jump onto something then crouch under the gap and that's it. then u have to arrest a robot by pressing E to warn then F to arrest.
<mmm.. try enabling sub titles as sometimes the voice over instructions can be missed>

this might sound obvious but do u know how to crouch? i notice that to crouch is the shift key and usually i use ctrl to crouch.
but, anyway, that's it... jump over first obstacle, crouch under next one, then jump/crouch for the third then that's it!
i've heard someone having problems with the bit were u have to ask a judge to open an elevator for you after u arrest the robot.

Hi, thanks to everyone who's helped. I found a solution myself: keep hitting the Judge who tells you to do the obstacle course, when she, and others, kill you you have to start from the checkpoint again and THIS time you get her telling you to either go under or over the obstacles as you get to them - especially if you stay left. Previously she only told you to go over the first one and was then silent - you've cracked it if she tells you what to do about them all.

Thanks everyone - be talking again as soon as I get stuck in the game, which I am now in. Whooopeee!!

that is a weird one, venom. must be one of those bugs that only affects certain machines or configs.
