Does this chip kill your ps2? Or is that jsut some crap someone made up?

This prob is not just with messiah, but with all v9 chip installs. Sometimes the PS2 just dies after working fine for a day or so. Get someone to install it for ya so if so if somthing goes bad it is on them not you.

what about on a V7?

No, just on the v9.

The percentage of consoles that have actually died compared to the amount modded is actually very small an has been blamed on a bad batch of consoles. I chipped mine with m2v1.33b an it works fine.

besides that most of the problems were related to M2Pro 1.31 weren't they?.....although that might be simply cos it was the best sellin mod at the time.

you got to ask youself this.you take a chance when you chip any console but do you want to double it by fitting a Messiah2. i am waiting like a lot of others for the dms
