Where is PrimoDVD v.2 ???

I've been searching for it for hours. Few sites have it for download and almost all of them have broken links. Can anyone point to a WORKING link. Also, which one do you prefer more? RecordNow Max or Primodvd? What about Clonedvd? I don't see it as discussion topic anywhere.

i prefer record now, record is the updated version of primo.

CloneDVD is for dvd movies.

Stomps RecordNowMax an Sonic RecordNow or RecordNowDX r all the same program an r all based on Prassi PrimoDVD2. Prassi got a few minor bugs in but any of the recordnow range r perfect.

If you really want it... Try PSX Copy 2000... But if you want to save a lot of head-aches...try DVD Decrypter... You might like that better... Primo DVD isn't compatible with my DVD burner... Even with the 507 PX engine update it won't work with my Mat****a dvd burner...

Primo is OUTDATED. Use Stomps Record Now Max.

Otto, Ive been testing out Sonics RecordNow DX and Ive been having problems with both DVD backups and Xbox games.

So Ive had to use my old Stomp RNM.

Have you had any probs with those?

PSX Copy 2000 is just a crippled version of primo which had bugs anyway, and DVD Decrypter is optimized for DVD movies. Just use record now MAX not much else can compare other then maybe alcohol 120%

So sonic record now isn't any good?
tried the stomp rnm but that one didn't take my burner, not even with the latest Px update.

Sonic can I use but than My Ahead Nero gets kicked out from the system..

If alkohol 120% can do it then I will use that program..

good thing with primo dvd its free rnm cost money i got them both when one wants to screw up i use the other it usely takes truns on screwing up but 90% of the time i us RNM

About Sonic's RecordNow DX (Deluxe)

Ive only had a problem backing up an Xbox game with it. I havent had any probs with PS2 games as of yet.

I have had one bad incident with a 4gig encrypted dvd. I was using AnyDVD 2.0.0.4 with it. It wouldnt even let me read the disc. RNM on the other hand did it no problems.

I tried another 4gig encrypted movie using the new AnyDVD 3.0.0.7 and I didnt get any problems reading my original and writing my backup with it.

So my dvd problems may just have been an AnyDVD problem. But I didnt like that Sonic's RNDX spit out my xbox game unfinished.

is Sonic's RecordNow DX better then RNM if so im going to look into getting that may have less probs with it :)

I dont know if "better" is the right word. I think if anything it will recognize newer burners. But RecordNow Max still has more features and lets you select more options. You just may have to wait a bit longer for Stomp to make updates for your specific new burners.

Never have any probs with any RecordNow product ( Or Primo2 for that matter).Anything that has gone wrong has always been sumfing that I've done wrong rather than a software issue. Always does good 1:1 backup of ps2 dvd based game. I use DVDXcopy gold for Movie backups so can't vouch for that.

Regards

Yeah I know what your saying Otto. But just open up options in RNM and in RNDX youll see that RNM has more options.
