C&C Generals 1.7 (1.07) crack not working.

Hi,

Can whoever wrote the C&C Generals 1.7 (1.07) no-cd crack please check that they accidentally didn't rar the official game.dat file instead of the cracked one.

I tried this game.dat file but it still requires the CD when run. The size and timestamp on the file is exactly like the official file.

I'd email you directly but there's no email address in the nfo file, so I'm hoping that this gets to you.

The only recognisable info in the nfo file is:

DOX DIVISION

cracker: drunk one
protection: cd check

Cheers,
Dave.

Try this. Use the game.dat file along with the older C & C gen .exe crack which is 110 kb in size. This solution worked for me. Good luck

I am also looking for a proper fix so i dont have to use the disc for generals, I do not see a file with 110 kb in the list help please Thanks................Todd

Fix.

I can't say that I looked at the actual size of the file etc, but what I downloaded and used was the one at the very bottom of the list:

C&C: Generals v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE

It contains 4 files but you only need to use the generals.exe file.

So, to make the story complete:

1. Install C&C Generals.
2. Download and install the official 1.07 patch.
3. Download both the v1.0 fix and also the 1.7 (should be 1.07) fix from gamecopyworld.
4. Use the generals.exe from the v1.0 fix.
5. Use the game.dat file from the v1.7 fix.

Cheers,
Dave.
