My last question before buying a mod chip! PLEASE REPLY!!!
OK, hi guys.
This week I am going to install a modchip on my V7 PAL PS2. And before I do, just wanted to ask some questions. 1) Which Mod chip is better ?? DMS3 or Messiah 2 pro?. The money is NOT an issue because they are only 10 AUD difference between them. 2) Which one is more likely to BOOT 100% my backups.? 3) Which one is more reliable? Thanx for the answers in advance. I know you guys here are experts.!! So I will base my purchase on your comments. Again thank you. |
I'm not the expert the rest of the guys are but I think there are numerous posts out there in the forum that may very well answer your questions. I have a v7 pal too. I don't know which I'll put but it will be one of those two. Personally, I don't have a clear view on the extrafeatures of the dms yet, to know if they will affect my judgement.

I am also trying to decide which chip to install in my v7 ps2, i just joined here and will be looking around, seems like a cool and informative place.

DMS3 lets you boot progs off your memory card such as PS2 Reality Player(plays divx and mp3 discs) has dvd region free built in, macrovision off, and a flash upgrade feature. Nothing your average gamer really needs. PS2 reality Player can be burned onto a cd so that feature is kinda dumb + it takes up half your mem card if you put the prog on your memory card. If you just want to play games get a Messiah 2.

Bighap. Thanx for your comment.
Yes, the only thing that I want to do is play games. But for 10 AUDollars more, I can get the extra features of the DMS3. (Maybe i won't use them, or maybe I will, I dunno yet :) I want to know if the DMS3 is more or equally stable as the Messiah. And if it will boot every backup game 100%. Thank you again for your comments. |
They are equally reliable.

OK, good.
I will go with the DMS3 then. Thanx Bighap!!!!!! You are all great in this forum. After I get it installed I will be back here!!!!!!! You are the best!!! |
