gta III and gta vice city

before i start loosing it
what the hell is going on?!
i just bought gta III and gta vice city... and i tried playing them off the disk and on my hdd and it froze at the loading screen
with the lil bar on bottom, same time anytime i try, either way
i tried playing it on my friends box who, minutes before actually... i just flashed him with the same bios that i reflashed myself with: the 4977 x2 bios....
its works fine on his
on any of the two ways, on both disks
what is going on?!
how do i get it to work?
i mean, i even reflashed the bios and it didnt work!
ahhhhhhh!

This may seem a little odd (it did to me at first) but check and see what the date and time on your XBox is. If its not the right date and time, correct it and see if the game plays.

I didn't have this prob, but it seems a few people did.

Ya its seems werid I know. I have no clue who came up with that or why it works.

before i set up the time and date
it was set up to some weird time and date
like 8/3/8907 was the date, and the time was like 27:43
which makes no sense..
i guess the game just needs a workable time and date
probably just time
