Ive got battle engine aquila but it wont work off of my xbox hdd. Needs a crack i guess. Anyone know where i might find it?

um, what chip do you have? And which bios?

btw, patches for xbox games are universal, after you state what chip you have, i will tell you if it needs to be patched or not and how.

Ive got an x2.2 lite plus on the executer something bios ill look

oh well, dont remember the bios, but it says the disk may be damaged or dirty

hmm, someone just posted they can get a game to load off a dvd, but not the hdd. Your bios should be fine, so no patching is really needed. I dunno what to say :( . Maybe turning off all In Game resets in evox?

I dont know if that will work, but ill try. As for a crack fix, there is one, csiso released the game with it, but thats not the version I have. It might work tho

could also be the game disk. All newer games need to be patched with a media fix, so it can play off the hdd or dvd. If you have the newer bios though, which is like after february 2003, then you don't need patching.

I guess ill just find the newest bios and update to that and see if it works. Turning off the igr didnt help.

I think it will work if you patch it with Craxtion ...

never heard of that. And I didnt get sidetracked, its just that he said I shouldnt need to patch so I was looking at the alternative

ok,just tried craxtion, it says the xbe doesnt need patched so Im now at a loss. If anyone has the game, perhaps you would bless me with the xbe file to see if that fixes the problem.

What version you got PAL or NTSC ?

Hold tight ... I'll have a check ... I'll load it up on my box and see ... mine did run ok i know ... It might take a while coz I'm not at home at the mo ...

Also have you tried a different BIOS ? ...

Ive tried at least 2 different bioses. One xecuter bios and one evox bios. Neither worked.
