Diablo 2 - BNET won't recognize cracked .EXE

Is it jsut me or recently BNET started checking the GAME.EXE file?

The 1.10 crack worked for a while, but now I get the error saying that BNET CANNOT RECOGNIZE THE APPLICATION VERSIONS PROPERLY!

I got the same thing... and since my cd only seems to be working for an install and not playing the game, I am out of luck :(
