Jedi Academy multiplayer

I'm trying to get multiplayer to work without a CD using the no cd patch (I bought my older brothers copy for 20$ since he doesn't play it anymore and doesn't live here, happy now?), but whenever I try to actually PLAY the game it says Disk 1 not inserted (with the no cd patch). I don't want to use the CD, because its easier (I use no cd patches for all my games). Any ideas?

There one way to get around boarder rules. :p

Have you realy test all this cracks?

I have, thats the problem. I can get into the multiplayer menu's, but when I actually want to play the game, it gives me the Disk 1 not inserted, and I'm pretty sure people have managed to get these to work. Note that I'm clicking on the startmp.exe in the gamedata folder to get into the game.

I currently don't have the game so I can't help ya!
Read about backups and mounting! This might help you temporary http://www.fileforums.com/images/top_search.gif

IIRC multiplayer still needs the disc in the drive to play. Have you tried it with the disc in ? If that works, try with a backup disc.

Yeah multiplayer works with a disk, but I have no blank CD's (and live about an hour's drive from the nearest store that sells them) but I'm possitive people have gotten the multiplayer to work without the CD.

For anyone that has the game, do you have multiplayer working without the CD?

Another rule broken by Chris04. Threadlock.

Chris04 also claims to have now bought the game from his brother and is no longer pirating it.

Chris04 claims to be able to play with the original CD.

Chris04 claims he has to drive to the store to buy blank CD so he can put a CD in.

All true, emphasizing the world "claim", no proof against it. And I'm sorry for posting just the "anyone" but I've tried countless times to get this to work with no success, and its frustrating.

So chris04, let us know which story you want to settle on. Preferably with the chris05 account you no doubt will be making soon.
