Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 Time Twister

I have Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 Time Twister
& wacky worlds add-ons.

I'm trying to install them both over a no-cd version of rollercoaster tycoon 2. Both installers say Rollercoaster tycoon 2 is not installed.

Can anyone please help.

Seams that the based Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 is a ripped version!

And I repeat can anyone help please....

You need the original .exe in place to be able to install the expansions.

Re-install RCT2, then the two expansions and finally replace the original .exe with the TimeTwister NoCD.

Nope he can't he still got the ripped version of the game! :p

Wheres it mentioned that the guy has a RIP version of the game? I think GCS hit the nail on the head on how to fix it.

Often when you install an expansion it's search for REGESTRY, ripped version dosen't cover all the regedits. That's means that patches can be lost. I don't think a expansion asking for where is rct2.exe file and you can search for it. I think it looking in the regestry and find a string or 2 that's lead to a foulder where RCT2 is installed.

Example, Raven Shield patches can find where the folder Raven Shield is installed. (Often when an expansion need to be at same folder, at one lead to provent warez is to build in a reg search)

And if he got the original CD. He just have to reinstall the game, and not complain. So that's why I think it's a WAREZ and a ripped version. Ripped version only do the regy thing (if it has to) that's neasy searly to execute the .exe file! An no-cd (dosen't include an orginal file).

That can be true, yeah. But maybe the expansion pack is doing a quick crc check on the exe?
