Messiah 2 1.31 on ps2 v9 50003 uk pal via's or pins to solder which is best the pins look safer but charlie's Messiah 2_v9_Install(v1.2).pdf says via. http://www.grmods.com/villasg/ pic for pins wot do you think john/mrfixitmods the pins looks easy

The pins work a better, the vias go on but don't make good conduct and seem to fail. Used pins and worked first time, vias seemed to cause me problems

If you are an expert, then the vias will be easy for you. Otherwise you might just melt a via and with it the pcb layer underneath.

Just gave the Jap 18000 to the Messiah 2 developer. I think he'll get that bitch sorted as well.

so the pal 50003 v9 work with m2 then via's or pin what ever suits the installer

quick Q, is the 50004 still a v9 unit? from us/aus? :confused:
if its still a v9, just wonderin why the M2 v1.31 works with the other v9 units e.g. 50000-50003 and not the 50004...

also, any chance of a progress update on the M2 v1.32 please Charlie? nearly a month since the v9 was released in the UK now and I wondered if the final dev is getting close...

There's a whole load ov 50004 (Europe) with which Messiah 2 v1.31 works. Some appear to have something different which may be a BIOS issue and v1.31 hasn't worked with those (unidentifiable) v9 models.

I believe that the problem has been cracked and some test pieces should be going out today or tomorrow.
