Problems backing up DVDs, havent done this in a while

hey guys i have been out of the loop for a little while with backing up DVDs. I used to use DVD X copy but since i reformatted my computer i cannot get the program working properly. I have been trying out CloneDVD, DVD Decrypter, and DVD2one. I tried backing up Italian Job last night. This DVD is about 8 gigs so i was going to have to split it into 2 DVDs which i dont care. What is the best way to go about this. I tried doing it with DVD decrypter then burning it with Nero. When i played the DVD it was playing faster then normal and the screen was all jumbled. (this was on my PC) I put it into my Sony DVD player and it would not even read the DVD. What programs are you guys using to back up DVDs and what steps do you go about doing it. Also is there any type of updated drivers i am going to need? I had no problems doing this with DVD x copy. But like i said i cannot get the program to work for the life of me. Thanks

Dave

Well it sounds to me like you got the right tools. Are you really wanting to put it on 2 dvds? Because the dvd shrinkers that are out now do really good jobs and you can hardly notice the difference.

dvd x copy express is doing just fine for me. all in one program, and no duff copies yet. and it puts them onto one disk.
