my friend tells me that he is getting a gc modchip in Iran,

he says they sell pirated games and stuff. has anyone ver heard of this (he wouldn't kid me on, he thinks there is a mod chip available)

he claims some relatives of his (he is iranian) are going to get the mod chip for him.

if this is correct, he will have an extra mod.

is there anyone who could duplicate a mod chip?

first of all they just crack the gamecube like 4 days ago, so they will not release a mod chip that fast. since it will still be in testing. there is no way to duplicate a mod chip unless u smart in engineering.

Its gotta be BS. Because if they actually had a chip it would get worldwide attention.

After like 18 months or so the GC finally gets cracked using exploits and external hardware, then all of a sudden an Iranian pops out of the woodwork taunting the complete solution of a modchip??!! nah man, i ain't buyin' that :rolleyes: :)
