Hi

Could someone please help me

I have the worms armageddon CD and downloaded the no cd patch for 3050 beta2. It patches the game and when you play it an error comes up saying..

WARNING: no default soundbank found check

Then it goes into the game but when you try and play it, it just goes to the desktop.

I checked and there is a default sound bank file that works.

Steps I took to install the game are.

1. install game from CD
2. update game with the 3050 beta2 patch
3. install 3050 beta2 no cd patch from gamecopyworld

I'm sick of the lag that happens as it keeps accessing the cd and takes time for it to spin up. : (

So could someone please give me some advice on how to get this thing working please?

don't use beta update and cracks. BETA is less supported by cracker groups and game developer...waith for the final version of the patch hit's out!

You should try _without_ the no-CD patch first; does that work?

Sorry that I can't help you more. Although I did that no-CD patch, I did it on request of a colleague and I don't have the game.
