FS2004 crack bug!!
 

Hi,

There seems to be something wrong with the FS2004 crack that GCW hosts. When it's applied to a complete installation of FS2004, all ground textures seems to have dissappeared. This has to have something to do with the cdprotection on CD4, where are the files are loaded form...

When installed to a compact installation everything works fine though. But I'd like the complete one since it supports several plugins which the compact one doesn't...

Does anyone have a fix to this problem? Here's an image to show the problem:

I've got 2 questions!

Dose this happen to you if you using original file and CD?

Have you check the options/settings?

With original CD's WITHOUT the crack it's working fine. However, when applying the crack the the original CD installation I have the same problem.

The settings make no different. I use the same setings with the backup CD's as with the originals... so the problem cannot be there...

Test this!

Install the game with your original CD!

Then rename original .exe file to, (add original before the .exe file name so it would look like this "original [filename].exe")
then extract the crack and run the game. Dose it happen then! (DON'T install from the backup CD)

Uhm, read again, I think Olmen already answered that. His original works fine, crack doesn't. Olmen, if you read this, you might be better off trying Alcohol120% to make a hard disk image of the play cd and mount that. This should work and may be the only way to get a perfect result.
