Dark Chronicle Problem!
 

Does anyone know of a fix for Dark Chronicle. I've made a backup of it and it plays perfectly fine until u reach "Veniccio" and go into that "Mural Cave". It freezes when u attempt to leave the menu screen to resume gameplay in that certain area. I think it mite it a protection thing. Anyone had problems with this certain area?

What mod you using? What media? What prog did you use to burn?

You may have to reburn. I still dont know of any ps2 dvds that are protected in any such way. I have the US version of that game and have easily gotten past that part.

i've got a Pal v7 console with a DMS3 v2 with firmware version 1.6c. I used Taiyo Yuden 4X DVD-R like i normally use with all of my backups. It only freezes on the first two levels of the mural cave and only when u attemp to leave the menu. Entering the menu is fine but leaving it totally freezes it.

Maybe you should try a reburn. I suggest you use the original disc again to make the image then reburn to dvdr again.


Maybe you had a slightly flawed disc.
