Doesn't work right. The crowd is all jacked up when you play a game. Is anyone else experiencing this too?

Hmmm, what do you mean by jacked up? My crowd doesn't seem any different.

I'm going to reinstall the game. Maybe it's a bug with the patch update. My crowd was all messed up. I'll take a screenshot and post it if I see it again.

Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about. This is after a fresh install. No, it's not my video card (Radeon 9700 Pro, Catalyst 3.8 drivers) because this looks fine if I insert the game CD and play.

No, I don't play the game at 640x480. I captured this at the standard 1024x768 that I play at and resized the image.

Nevermind now, problem with with the video drivers...fixed it and it works fine.

Well being an registered owner of Madden 2003, 2004, Nascar Thunder 2003, 2004, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 and F1 2002 would really like to use this no/cd download...I am a newbie to all this no cd business and really have no idea what to do with the no/cd file...I read the stickies and really could not find how to install the no/cd file...Any step by step instructions or links to instructions would be greatly appreciated...Thanks...:confused:

It's not a patch. It's a replacement EXE file for the game. Open the RAR file, look at the file name in there (MAINAPP.EXE). Go to your game folder, grab that file (to back up so you can patch the game again later) and copy it to a seperate directory.

Then extract the MAINAPP.EXE file from the RAR file you see here to the Madden 2004 folder (usually C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Madden NFL 2004\) and you're all done.

It basically is a cracked EXE file to remove the CD checking of the normal game.

isn't it supposed to display the version (4.1.0.0) at the upper right corner in the main menu with this nocd patch?

I'm asking because I'm having a hard time playing online with a buddy over an IP connection. I get different version error all the time uppon conection. Acctualy I never played online and I'm obcessed in having a match against a human being.

Finding this nocd was like a life saver, but now I'm not sure if it's gonna work out.

I'm having probs with updating Madden, it says something like:

"Old file not found, but one like it was, Update not applied because of, blah,blah,blah..."

Has anyone else heard of this? Can't seem to figure it out. If i install the game and just play it, everything works just fine...but when I try to update it, I get this error????
