OK let me spell it out for you.

I bought my xbox premoded with evox installed. The guy I got it from has them done by someone else. I asked him if he knew the IP and he does not.

I want to know how I can erase the evox that is on the xbox HD and then I can reinstall it with the boot disc and all of the info I have read here.

Trust me...I have read all of the stickies and because I don't know the xbox IP I cannot connect to it at all.

If youre really not stupid then why do you continue to make new threads for the same subject?

If you actually read my posts instead of just being a jerk you would see that the question I have asked has not really been answered.

I figured I would give more info and ask it again.

My only question is why you want to erase evox and start over?

Anyways, i have some tutorials in the link in my sig. To remove evox, just delete the "evox.ini and the evoxdash.xbe files off your hdd.

it sounds as if evox was installed via slayers because the box should tell you what your ip number is in the options...if at worse i think you will need to get boxplorer to attach a new evox.ini on youer harddrive to make it networkable
