Ps2 Scph-50002 Messiah 1.31 problems
 

Hi there,

I just installed a Messiah 2 1.31 into a Ps2 Scph-50002 (australian version)

I notice that the reset line now goes to the eject line for V9. But I am not sure of the boot procedure (has it changed from the procedure in the FAQ?)....of course if you tap the Eject button the disk tray comes out??

I can boot PS2 (CDR, I have not tried DVD-r yet) back ups no problem, and they work great, everytime. I do not have any original PS2 CD to try...because my dog ate them.

I can not boot original PS1 or back up CDR PS1...or it seems original PS2 DVD...it seems to hang at the browser config...or goes to the memory card screen.

Some help here would be appreciated.

press the EJECT (not RESET) for about 1 or 2 seconds to switch to psx/dvd mode...... likewise just hold it for 5 sec to disable the chip

Yeah, its a real prolem trying to persuade ur dog not to eat yr originals. I get it all the time.

I just feed mine a couple of cdr an dvd-r's a day an that keeps him at bay.
