witch exploit is best for me
 

I am soft modding my friends xbox, here is what he wants:

I don't care about back-ups but I want to launch apps and go on xbox live.

will the audio exploit get you banned from live?

i think all the exploits will get you banned, the only option i think you would have is to get a mod chip with a switch so when he wqants xbox live he can turn the chip off

what about the gamesave exploit?

I heard that doesn't get you banned

with the game save exploit i think u have to edit the kernal somehow for it to work...

how do you do that? are you sure you can't just boot evox from a game save if live updates your dashboard?

from what i hear...if you use the game save exploit, all it will do is upload evox for you, when you have the ftp running you have to exchange the kernals in order to load anything without the microsoft sign on it, im sure you do with games, as for apps...i dont know, then again you may not need to exchange the kernals, aint bothered with the exploits since a chip made it a lot easier

gamesave is definately the safest, and if he wants to go on XBL, it is the only one that will work. I mean, the exploits have been fixed in the new xbl 2.0 dash, which is a required update for all XBL users.

The 007/mechassult gamesave has evox in it. So, when u load it up, you can load evox. You can probably change it a little to load Pheonix bios loader instead as well (which loads haced bios without a chip). As long as your friend powers the xbox completely off before he goes Live, he should be fine.

he needs:
-memcard
-007:AUF or Mechassult
-friend with a modchip

Since the save is on a memcard, ms cant do anything about it.

also, there is a generic game signer that will allow you to boot things like evox, and the emulators without hacked bios. Nut, i suggest you get pheonix loader as it is much easier.

and if he has xbl, CHANGE IT TO NOT AUTO SIGN IN

wow thanx for your help, I am going to edit the game save to load pheonix, by the way O have an xbox running the font exploit that boots evox so I can get the savegame onto a memory card
