HeadHunter 1CD Version
 

Hi,
I have the 2 diferente versions of HeadHunter (2 CD's-with FMV , and 1 CD without FMV).

The problem is that when a load a saved game from the 2nd using de 1 CD version of HeadHunter it shows a message: "Save From CD2" so I can't load it.

The 2 CD version of the game was an error near the end off the game, there is a patch released but it seems that the only way to apply it is to own the original cdi image of the 2nd disc.

Now I want use the CD1 version of the game to go to the end off the game (play with 2nd CD and saving game just before the error, the swap the disc with de alterated 1CD version, load the saved game and after passing the error, use agin the 2nd CD)

SO I NEED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS ALREADY REACHED THE END OF THE GAME WITH THE 1CD VERSION.

PS: IS IT POSSIBLE TO EXTRACT DATA FROM A SB CD AND THEN BURN IT WITH LBA 45???? (AFTER ISERTING A IP.BIN IN THE ISO IMAGE)?

try looking for the pulsar proper cd 2 fix because u will be able to use it with the 2 cd version 2 have now!

It seems that only one cinematic was checked on Head Hunter CD2 and we
have ripped it off :( lucky us :).
Because of that, the enduser was being unable to finish CD2.
Once this fix is applied on the disc, you will be able to fully enjoy
this amazing game.

I've already posted an issue about how to use the ppf patch that i've downloaded from www.megagames.com, in this forum but no one as gave a solution. This is what I have:
- Selfboot HeadHunter CD2 (with a error) from ECHELON
- A PPF FIX : DISC2PATCH-HLG-HUNT with this message in a file:
Apply PPF on CDI-Image.
Burn the patched CDI-Image.
The unpatched Image is disc 1, the patched is disc 2.

Is this the correct Patch?
How do I extract the CDI Image: The entire CD or Just the Data?
How do I apply the patch to this image?

Please read my other posted issue, and give me your opinion.

the fix i was on about is not a ppf patch,it needs you to change a few files and rebuild the image so you can then complete it properly,echelon never released head hunter 2 cd edition it was pulsar travellers!

I've read de HeadHunterCD2 Repak nfo file, and what i've concluded that is we've got to do:
- Geting the correct FMV files Scene63_63A.4XM and Scene73_75.4XM, and replace the existing files in the cd2 by these one.
QUESTION1: Where do I Get this Files?
QUESTION2:It is possible for me to use the 4K files existing int 1Cd Versioof the game and use them as replacements?

Suposing that one way or another I get this files, this is what we should do:
1- Extract all Data files from CD 2 to a folder in our disc.
2- With Megalex tools extract the IP.BIN file of this CD.
3- Patching it so that we have GDROM2/2 in the media type.
4-Burning it with EChelon.

Please correct me if i'm wrong.

the reason disk 2 dont work is because it checks for a video to load and when it finds a small file it ****s the game!
the only way i can think of you getting the files you need to fix is by coming onto irc,connect to efnet and message me asking for the head hunter cd 2 fix (it's 27.8mb) and i will send it you!
