Whats the general opinion on the TDK DVD-R 4.7gig Media. I Have backed up Silent Hill 2 and it has played perfect in every aspect.....I suppose its just curiousity about this media. The price wasent bad either at $28 AUD for a pack of 5

That's around $6 each. Pretty expensive considering you can pick up Ritek G04 DVD-R 4x from the swap meets at around $2.30 each. Ritek G04's are very reliable.

And I know, that some people don't like the Princo 4x media, but it works a treat on my setup. No problems at all. The good thing is, I buy them for $80 for a spindle of 50. That comes to around $1.60 each...

I heard some bad experiences with the TDK media, but your ps2 may have no difficulties with it. better for you huh. I always use Fuji DVD+R. Buy them for around 1.80 each.

I use Ritek / Datasafe DVD-R - only costs 90p and works absolutely flawlessly! :D $6 (about £4 here). is VERY expensive. But if it works for you, then that's good.

Recently I picked up the same media hre in the states for 14.99 for a 10 pack (staples), so far i have found no probs witht them. They run quiet, and no buzzing or wierd noises, so i think i will stick w/ them
