FileForums - Mechwarrior 3 expansion Installation problems

Hi i need a clue to install my new purchase Mechwarrior 3 expansion. To install it i need the original Mechwarrior 3 CD ,i legally own this one but i physicaly crack it so i can't read it in the CD drive although i manage to find a copy over the net but i still can't use it to start the installation process . Maybe i didn't put the files correctly to make beleive the setup that there is the correct CD in the Drive or i need to hex edit the setup.exe on the expansion ? I Really could use a good clue from you all .
Once again i own those two tittle mechWarrior 3 and mech 3
