i dont quite understand how it works do you have to insall the game and scan the dir or can it scan the disk.

sorry for being a noob i normaly use clonyxxl latest version 2.0.1.5

Your sort of on track....you need to go to the games directory, and then find the games main executable file (and possibly the .dll file is protected with msot protections and even .dat, but usually just cd checks with dat files), and scan that

how the hell can i backup toca race driver i just used protection id and it says cd checks and secuer rom how do i backup with both pretections

Either go to the GameCopyWorld (http://www.gamecopyworld.com) site, and check out the protection page (its been moved to CD Media World, but the link still works from GCW) or read the Stickies in this forum!

Good Luck, you will need it with the newer protections, believe me. (Unless you want to use a crack, the easy way out....sometimes the only....)
