HAving trouble with FIFA 2003 crack
 

i made a backup of my copy of FIFA 2003, which is a 2-CD set.

If anyone else has made a backup of FIFA 2003, and has actually got it working, then please tell me the EXACT step-by-step guide on how to execute it properly.

I did a full install, which is about 1,000MB, and then ran the Fifa2003.exe crack which i found on GCW. However, my screen just turns black and the game doesn't run. so, please give me a complete guide to how to install this properly.

PS. i have an S3 Trio 3D/2X video card on the computer i am trying to run it on at my beach house, which is an 8MB card, so it has nothing to do with faulty system requirements.

the crack is fine.
upgrade your video drivers to the latest version.
but i think FIFA2003 won´t run on an 8MB video card .

hmmm, well i read on another forum that someone with a more modern Nvidia card was having similar trouble with a FIFA 2003 crack, so that may not be the problem. And plus, on the FIFA 2003 box it says minimum system requirements is an 8MB video card, so it will just do.

The graphic chips are listed on the package. Is your chip not listed, It may result that the game doesn't run probably either.

Okay, there's NO WAY in HELL that card will run FIFA2003. 8Mb ? They can't even get the textures for Beckham's new hairdo in that space :D

Is ANyone able to help me here or what? I checked my DirectX settings, and it says 3d-hardware acceleration works. SO WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CRACK? WHAT SHOUDL I DO??

It doesn't look as if your card meets the requirements.

yep its not possible to play the game with your videocard.
and the existing fifa 2003 crack is fine...

Hmmm, well thats interesting because if you follow this link, and click on PC System requirements, http://www.easports.com/platforms/ga...a2003/pccd.jsp , then u will see that it says 8MB video card is the minimum requirement. it seems to be conflicting...

btw, i installed creation center on that computer, so i might need to uninstall everything and reinstall from scratch...if my card doesnt meet the requiements ill just buy a new 1

Creation center could had thrashed your FIFA installation.

A friend of mine gave me the game cds months back and I just copied them. I downloaded the crack from GCW ad I could play fine for about one week. Then I installed creation center and voila, black screen. Changing cracks and doing reinstalls doesn't help. Formatting might (haven't tried that yet, I'm too lazy to backup everything and I dont' really like sport games).

LOL, so it might be better to just wait for 2004...

and its also hard to believe that on the official EA site, that Creation Centre is available.
