cannot get clone cd4 to connect to burning rom
 

i have recently tryed to start using my clone cd program that is registered and i am having trouble trying to get the program to respond with my mitsumi CR-48XCTE burnung rom. I see that the properties says that it can not read DVD discs and i am trying to make a back up copy of one of my ps2 games. I am trying to make an image file and burn from that after. Do i need a dvd drive that can read DVD's that may read ps2 games also, when i try to use clone cd4 with my burning rom it keeps saying waiting for mitsumi-48xcte but never connects. Anyone that could help me with this i would appreciate it very much. Thanks.:confused:

Your message is a bit confusing, but ...

Is it a DVD based game you are trying to back-up?

If so, CloneCD can't handle it and neither can your drive which is for CDs only.
