ps1 will it play vcd?
 

yes i just got me a ps1 with a lcd screen off ebay for 100$ :) and it came with a car kit and all and i plane on useing it in the car when i got to wait on my g/f and stuff what i want to know is will the ps1 play vcd's i seen about 3 years ago were they had a way of playing some vcd's from japan so i was wondering if i could make a vcd movie and play it on the ps1 in my car :)

i thought i could just d/l a bootdisk or something that thing cost 45$ thats alot and would it work on a mini ps1 it says it works like a gameshark

Well the 'Get this' post is quite useless.
That product only works for original Playstations that have a parallel port and the PSOne certainly doesn't.
