Gameshark 2
 

Does anyone know if the Gameshark 2 is a cd-rom or dvd-rom?

I think most of them are CD roms.

I believe they are all cd-rom.

Actually there were a few early versions of Gameshark that were indeed DVD based. I cant remember the exact version but I think it was around the v1.93 season. Maybe a little later.

When I used to moderate the ConsoleSource forums the owners used to sell these dvd based ones. Ill see if I can find out which versions they came as.

I stand corrected. I wish they were all dvds. CDs can be so picky when it comes to condition.

Is there a way to put 740 mb on a cdr?

Let me ask you this:

Have you extracted the Gameshark into an image of sorts on your HDD?

If so then its probably just the image size and not actually the size of the real data thats going to be put on your cd.

Just try buring it on a cd, itll most likely work.

I burned it onto a cdr and when I load it on my modded playstation 2, the screen stops on the Playstation screen. I used Blindwrite program, am I doing something wrong with the settings or something.

Possibly. Just use Alcohol 120% and the tutorial here.
IMHO, Alcohol 120% is far better.

Ok I got the Gameshark to boot but when It loads It ask me to for some hardware

Which hardware? If it doesn't say, it is probably a memory card or a dongle of some sort...

Dude you still need the Dongle (memory card type thing with a shark pic on it) to load up codes and the rest of the Gameshark effects.

If you dont have it then your outta luck.
