BF1942 - 1.45 crack *remix* for ya all! WORKS
 

I took iMMERSiON's crack and added a settings file which should help many of you to start the game, and ALSO I set the LOD to 0.0 - improves overall look of the game AND performance (if you do not know what it is - do not bother). I put it in a ZIP file so since many WinACE people are having problems with new WinRAR archives.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download
2. Open
3. Extract to original BF1942 directory
4. Enjoy

I was forced to remove the file because I had no space left for the IMPORTANT files of mine.
Maybe someone else could host it?
Or maybe GCW could host it?

Can you tell what's new with this crack releas...becuase....some people might have problem, but can often be easier fixed...:confused:

I got it, made is ZIP instead of RAR so that people will not have problems with that, and then added a SETTING file which sets ALL REFRESH RATES = 1, so that nobody gets a BLACK SCREEN when starting the game, and I also made LOD 0.0.
LOD is LEVEL OF DETAIL. If it is set BELOW 0.0 - it makes textures look grainy (especially far away), if ABOVE - then it makes textures blurry.
0.0 is ideal. Originally, BF1942 creators decided to set it to -0.5 or -5.0 (do not remember exactly), I changed it to 0.0.

It should cause NO PROBLEMS.
It works for me like a charm!

Now we know...but why don't you tell how to deal with the setting...instead of attach a file.

I don't meen any wrong...it's good that you have done things.

But right me if I wrong... you have attached .ini files that's contains setting that's optimal.

But let me observ this! To you and all the readers. often a .ini file contain much more then setting for everybode. Contains also setting that's perfect you just your computer!

That's mean that people can still having problems, becuase it can say that they have Geeforce 92 instead of 43, and that's can make things problem. 92 and 43 was made up version number....or Leech, they gonna releas an 97 soon :rolleyes: or not.

Thing is, most of the things that contains in a dot ini file is settings that's are fit your your grapficcard and your system.

But I just wanna observer this you all people. :o

No .INI files.
BF1942 settings come in 10 files. One for AUDIO, one for CONTROLS, one for VIDEO etc.
The "tweaked" file I concluded is NOT an .INI file and contains NO info about my PC. Here, let me show you what it has, full report

come on, after the 4th or 5th patch, people should know about the renderer.... setting well enough!

Don't count on me. Becuase I don't have the game installed. And I have immersons crack, and I never experince problem before...so I don't think I am in need of your crack version. (I've got Winrar 3.2 ;) )

Try the setting file, I promise you will get better image quality and performance NO MATTER what your system specs are. I guarantee ;) . I am not kidding!

OT: Well my opinion on the game..it's sucs. OFP like EAGLE SAYS. IT'S ROCK! Realism and everything..I've just bought Delta Force Black Hawk Down, hope fully it's more like OFP then Battlefield...:o

hmm, I really like Battlefield, too :)

But Black Hawk Down is like, hmm, Delta Force :)
