FileForums - Messiah 2 v1.31 Release Announced

The Messiah 2 team have authorised me to announce that in anticipation of Actel blank stock, Messiah 2v1.31 will be released to distributors for onward supply on 16-Sep-03.

As you will know, Messiah 2 v1.31 supports the v9 models SCPH-5000x. It is ironic that the release date could have been three months earlier had not the first 50000 unit on which v1.31 was tested been faulty. The code in this release is the same as that developed in May!

It is possible that the first batch will be produced on the more expensive Actel Pro chip (due to the Actel factory changeover and there being no antifuse blanks currently available). In that case the price will be slightly more expensive (c. $2 in bulk) until Actel blanks supply returns to normal.
