problems with pal to ntsc
 

I have crash bandicoot 3 in pal format and it plays fine on my modded ntsc machine except the colors and centering are off. when i try to convert to ntsc the color and centering are good but the game pads won't work. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
