PSX Bootdisc/PS-X-Change 2 Help

I have the PS-X-Change 2 for my PsOne and my backups of games like Syphon Filter 2 and FF7 runs fine because it asks you if u want to save right after you finish a cd and you can restart the game with the PS-X-Change 2 and insert the next disc and then continue the game on the next cd but with Metal Gear Solid I cant do so. When im done with the 1st disc of metal gear solid it tells me to enter the sencond disc. when i put the second disc it wont spin or load up. the cd remains still in psone cd drive and then i close the cd drive and still wont load up, and then i tried pressing every button 1 at a time on the psone to see if it loads or spin. but nothing because of this i cant go on in the back up and i need a backup cause my sisters like distroying my stuff! help please!

the only real fix for that is get a modchip!

no the mod chip is not the fix. i spoke to several people who has seen a way to fix this problem.

here is what i do first i use a twist tie because i dont have a boot disc (i use a swap trick)

1 take out what ever is holding down the lid senser
2 put in a real game
3 put the item to hold the lid senser back in
4 watch the disc it will spin slow at first then faster
5 onec it goes faster take out the real game and put in the burnt disc

this works for me i use this because i dont have a mod chip

found an easyer way for MGS

1 take out whatever is holding the lid senser
2 put in any real game
3 put the item that holds down the lid senser back in
4 let the psx read the game for about 10 seconds
5 put the back up of disc 2 in and press start

this worked for me
