Xecuter 2.2 lite problems
 

I've installed the Xecuter 2.2 lite myself. Whenever i turn the xbox on, it restarts 3 times then flashes red/green.

Notes:
1. the LED's to not light up until i move the modchip itself around since i have yet to stick it to the case. I have to move it around a little bit so they will.
2. Out of about 10 tries, the Cromwell bios finally booted up, but only once.
3. I think a little solder might have spread over the that little point to the left of the Red wire solder point. Can't really tell.
4. some might also touch the wire to the right of the d0 point
5. I'm using a 1.0 box
6. Everything worked 1 time while moving the modchip around
7. works when modchip is turned off

Questions:
1. What does the protect and unprotect switch do?
2. What do the blue LED's indicate? That the d0 point is attached or that all of the wires are attached.
3. Will it be possible to get the stray solder from that little point to the left of the Red wire soldering point?

I'm thinking that it must be a wire that is loose if the Led's don't light up until i adjust the modchip but the points look really secure. Some replies are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds very much like a connection problem, Like when you play with it you get it to connect. I dropped a little solder on the board I had no real problems, I would suggest after it cools see if you can pick it off I wouldn't suggest heating up the sold as it could ruin a trace line in the board.

I would just start over and solder your points again, use flux take your time and make sure you get that do good,
