Off Topic:win Xp Help
hey guys.. Sorry for this but this forum is so great and so many people can help me out i am sure!!But if the mods feel that i shudn't poast stuf like this then by all means delete this but i just need some help so i thought i wud ask in my #1 fourm!
QUESTION: my computer( pent.4 WindowsXP home) on startup gives me a message that says system32.exe(C:/windows/system32) is missing and since i recieved that message my computer CPU usage has been running at 100% for the majority of the time! Can anyone tell me where i cud d/l this file from or if some one cud pm me and possible send the file in a e-mail that wud be great! Thanks guys |
PS: my computer came wit no WindowsXP cd-rom that i cud copy the file from and i tried to d/l a "bois" driver thing for my computer but it didn't fix my problem

the file "system32.exe" doesn't exist
there is a dir called "system32", but no exe file called that what you have is probably a trojan/worm if you have an antivirus software use it and updated it, however registry values have probably been added usually when sh*t like this happens the best option is to format your hdd (i usually do it every 2 or 3 weeks anyways). |
give me ur address i can mail u a restore cd of xp that would work and u could just mail me 1$ atfr u get it that would pay for shiping it :)

looked at the size of it left the computer came back and posted its about 730 megs, and i just formatted yesterday |
