Xecuter 2.2 pro question
 

Everytime i go to a website to find Xecuter 2.2 pro it says

yah, you have just have to flash the chip with ozXflash first.

from the looks of it, no.

The chip may be able to do all the stuff in that list but if the chip is flashed with the worthless cornwall BIOS its limited to only running Linux until you reflash it with a "hacked" BIOS that will allow you to run stuff like EvoX and back ups.

Where were you going to buy your chip from? From the looks of your first post it looks like what System-Mods have on their site.

I don't think your going to get away from the cornwall BIOS unless you buy your chip from a 3rd party that has all ready reflashed it.

Now if you don't wanta go though the BS of using the ozXflash method you can buy a programmer that you hook up to your PC so that you can flash the chip. One can be bought from The Console Corner for $19.99 USD.

Oh, I must have over looked the part that said "- Pre-Flashed with legal Cromwell 1.8 Linux BIOS". Which means the chip won't do anything until hacked bios have been put on it.

should i just get the matrix modchip so i can get evox on it because it doesnt come preflashed????? and can the matrix let you play backups,play imports,let you back up games to the hard drive,and let you change the hard drive???:confused:

Well you can get the X2 lite, but its a little work to get it reflashed with a diff. BIOS. Its not hard.

Or you can buy an X2 Pro that dose not come pre-flashed. It will hook up to your PC and you can flash it with the BISO you want.

I was reading this and its telling the steps how to put bios on the xbox with Xecuter 2.2 pro bios manager....and it said that you can remove bios and add bios....so could i remove the preflashed ones and add Evox??? Sorry for all the questions,im new to modding

Yep thats what you can do. Most of the times the X2 PRO chips don't come pre-flashed though.

i found one that doesnt come pre-flashed.Thanks for your help
