any one know what is up with my internet explorer it opens my home page 100% but when i try to open a link the new window opens normal
but it's blank no addreass but if i type it in the page comes up
i tryed reinstalling internet ex and net setting but no luck

Do you have a popup stopper installed? Try holding ctrl then open the new window.

This happened to me mate. I had to reformat my system. I opened the window, pressed escape (which is effectively stop) and then F5 (refresh). It's a pain in the arse but it works flawlessly. Hope this helps...

Now that I think of it, I had this problem for a while too. There was a fix for it. I'll do some searching.

Got it! Try this:

1. Quit all programs that are running.
2. Click Start, and then click Run.
3. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.


If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):
Shdocvw.dll
Msjava.dll
Actxprxy.dll
Oleaut32.dll
Mshtml.dll
Browseui.dll
Shell32.dll (Windows XP and Windows 2000 only)
