Think I Got Screwed Chiping a PS2 Unit V8???
 

I just recieved my clone messiah 2 chip in the mail today. I got so excited, I got in my car & went to buy a new PS2 unit. To my surprise all the had was PS2 V8 units. Can I Chip the V8 units using the Messiah 2 clone???????

You can't tell if it is a v8 unless you open it up. What was the SCPH # ?

I dont know what the # is. I asked the guy in Gamestop & Toys R Us what versions are the PS2's. He told me they where all V8. New V7 are hard to find. Can Is till Chip the V8 using the Messiah 2 clone???

Find out the SCPH #. It might be a v9, schp 50000, which is the newest model. No mod supports the v9.
