Just got PS2, need some help.
Ok I just got my PS2 yesterday, so it should be the latest version.
I have a few questions to ask. 1) What mod-chip should I get (I live in Australia.) 2) Can my PS2 play PS1 backup games in full colour, regardless of its region (NTSCU, PAL, NTSCJ) 3) Since I dont think I can get a mod-chip ordered from the internet, I want to know if there is a place to get it modded.) 4) Can PS2 games, (not rips) be burned onto cd-rs? 5) Do they have to be burnt onto a DVD-R, or DVD+W Since Im new to the playstation 2, heres my info, best I can give: *I got my PS2 yesterday, it HAS to be the latest version. *I live in Australia If you can help, me please reply. |
1) apple pro modchips.cc
2) if you patch them 3) dont know 4) only cd games (blue bottom) 5) only silver bottom games on the disc it says dvd-rom or compact disc dvd-rom burn to dvd-r and compact disc burn to cd-r |
2. If you have a multisystem tv you can play everything in color with patching.
You can get your mod and installation from here. He is in Australia. |
Thanks for the help!
Also another question. Will I be able to play all my PS2 copied games, in full colour (regardless of the region)?? Thanks a bunch! :p ;) :D :D By the way, I think that my model is SCPH-50002. Any more information on this model is appreciated. |
If you're TV will support the different signals, then yes.
|
Sorry, there is no mod that supports the SCPH-50002 yet.

Crap!!!!!
Crap this is bad... Do you guys know when a mod-chip might come out for it? It shouldnt be too long right?

But, do you know where I can find more information, and do you know when this "when" is?
Thanks a lot for the help bighap. |
charlie_ps2 posts some updates here every once and a while on the progress of the chip, but haven't seen him here in a week or so.
