Heroes of Might and Magic 3 No Cd.
 

Does anyone know where can I get no-cd for HoMM 3 English that lets you see the movies?

Chances are the game runs the movies/vidoes off the disc, if so, you will have to copy the movie files off the orignal CD (thye maybe be real media player files, or could b mpeg or avi's etc.) If not you may have to change an .ini file to point to the files....

Is there a no-cd crack that does something like that? Homm3 is my favorite game (better then homm4 by far) and I really like to play it with movies and all. But the cracks on this site say: "When playing without the CD, an error message will appear when the game tries to play an animation. Just ignore this message, the game will run 100%". One of them does exactly that, the other one just exits to windows.

And I tried fiddling with registry - I basicly copy Heroes3 folder to harddisk and change cdpath to "C:" while using the crack from this site - it still gives me an error and when I go back to regestry the cdpath reads something like "\." :confused:

Please help... :(

Yes - the movies and speach stored on cd in Heroes3/Data folder.

Is it so tough to crack this game? It's like 5 years old already.

Remember that you can use Alcohol120% to run the game from a hard disk image, it will take up 650Mb more space, BUT it won't require any crack and it WILL work.

Would also like info on how to get movies to play or if this is even possible.
