Problem Backups
 

Has anyone had any problems backing up The Two towers or Time Crisis 2?

Ive tried recordmax and primo for these but cant get them to work.

Ive got a Pioneer 105 (a05)
dvd-r generic media (have used these fine for two other games)
PS2 v1 with Mesiah2pro (i think the guy said something about an f14)

Ive only backed up 4 games so far and two have worked (dark alliance and devil may cry) and the above two havent.

Any ideas??????

Are you using RecordNow Max 4.50? Do you multitask while burning?

I tried record max 4.50 and didnt touch the pc for anything else while backing up.

Its odd that the other two games work fine with the exact same process?

Since only 2 of your 4 attempts have worked, if I were you I would try a different brand media. Hight quality such as Ritek, Verbatim, or TDK.

I burned about 16 of my PS2 games in my collection (:D ). All work like a dream, until a wire came loose in my PS2. Anyway I was able to copy Two Towers with ease. I'm using RecordNow Max 4.50 and Pioneer A06. Works like a dream. Like bighap said, get better media (Ritek is da sh** :D ). Hope it works!

Also, never burn on-the-fly, ALWAYS make an image first!

Just thought Id give a quick update.

I recently got some TDK dvd-r's and have since burnt the 2 problem games
and several others without issue (using Nero).
