Nero in order?
 

Please don't burn me for asking this, but I tried the search. I recently started using Nero and I can't seem to make Nero put the songs in the order I want. What do I need to do?

Try record now max, I use it for music files.

You need to change the name of the file so the song title appears first, then it is easier to see what order they are in.

Thanks FiT, I'll try that, but when I drag files over or add files for burning it just puts them in some random order. It doesn't seem to be alphabetically by artist or song title. Maybe it's by the file date, I don't know.

Will Record Now Max live happily with Nero installed?

change the name of the files before you transfer them. Then you can drag them up or down the list in record now max

lets say for the songs a,b,c,d i want the order b,a,d,c well i first drag b then a then d .......... It works for me... both nero 5 and 6

I guess I should have mentioned these are saved mp3 format files that I am burning to cd format, dont't know if that makes any difference. I have been busy and have not tried making any cd's since I posted. I appreciate all the suggestions, I will try renaming the files. RecordNowMax looks like a good program, but costs $'s, I already have Nero.
