Patching Copied Games
 

Often times I have this problem when I try to update a game that I have copied or somthing the game won't. The only solution I have found is to find a no cd crack for that version which is kind of a limiting solution. Is ther a nother way? For instance I have a copy of Europa 1400 and when I updated the game I got and error saying I had the wrong cd.

What do you mean with "is there another way" ?

Its normal to need a new crack when you update a game !!!

The "other way" is using Alcohol120% or similar to run the image form hard disk and emulate the copy protection. In all other cases, everytime you have a new patch, you need a new crack.
