CDRWin Plz HELP!
 

Ok, I got CDRWin Version 3.9C and I burned a game finely. Now, it's not working obviously. I tried all different .cues, even the one I burned finely first, I also tried more than one CD. I didn't change any settings or anything and I get this error:

Error: 'START DAO RECORDING' command failed on device 1:1:0 Cuesheet was rejected by CDROM recorder.

I tried everything - uninstalling the hardware, software, nothing! And it's not the .cue that has the problem, I check its validity and plus it gives me the errro with one that worked.

My device is the recorder.

Everything hasnt changed in terms of settings and I pressed defaults after to make sure. Plz help.

I am guessing you are using a cracked version of cdrwin huh?

I dont understand people - if you dont know about the error, dont reply.

Errors are common with cracked versions....

Really is that why I get the error with trial version of alcohol120?

bighap, cracked versions of CDRWin normally only give you a burnt cd that claims to be audio.

Brilliance: Try this and see what happens and report back to us on it.
Forget using the .bin/.cues that you have and try using your original with a program such as Clone CD or Alcohol 120.....
You said you "have tried all different .cue files" does this mean that you cannot burn anything OR just ps2 games....?????

Also, have you tried cleaning your burner with a cleaning disc lately?

One last thing. Be carefull about how you talk to members.
Bighap is a mod on this and other forums and KNOWS what he is talking about.
He asked the question about if it was "cracked" for a reason..

Bighap, You can lead a jackarse to water but you cant make it drink :) .Brilliance, in your cdrwin settings do you have ignore read errors checked? PSX and PS2 cd games do not have intentional read errors, be sure it is set to abort. Anytime you get a read error using cdrwin, alcohol or clone cd the original is DIRTY or DAMAGED, Check the original for scratches and fingerprints. Like bighap said, if you use a CRACK to unlock cdrwin it will give you a perfect read followed by a coaster or burn error.My advise is as is! you can take it or leave it
