I bought a messiah 2 chip in the store. Now i'm going to solder it on myself. could you please tell me wich ground I have to use. The big one or the small one.
Here is a picture of my chip: http://www.angelfire.com/games4/f16/chip.jpg |
Sorry m8 but that isn't a Messiah2! It's the Accessor chip. if it wasn't described as a clone then you have been ripped off.
On a more positive note, its not a bad chip & you will find continuity between the 2 ground points so it doesn't matter which one you use. |
I bought it at www.fortek.nl they said it was a messiah 2 chip. take a look at yourself. I thought already something like that because the word "Actel isn't on it (saw it after I opened the envelope. They realy said it is a messiah 2 chip. There goes my money from my vacation job  I paid 59 euro +/ 59 dollar for this chip.
What are the difference between this chip and the real one? Can I play ps2 backups on cd-r with this one? Thank you for the information about the chip and the answer on my question. DON'T BUY THE CHIP AT WWW.FORTEK.NL    |
Yes it will work, as I said it's actually not a bad chip. However, if you got this when you ordered a Messiah2 original, you need to return it & get your money back.

It is hard to buy a messiah 2 chip is the Netherlands. The shop I found is the cheapest one. The messiah 2 chip will cost around the 60 dollar here. They build in into your playstation for 135 euro !!!!!!!! The prices aren't normal here.
If the chip is the same as the messiah 2, why do I have to trade it then? If I bring it back I need to look again for a messiah 2 chip. Very hard. |
