If you have a v5 or above console then you should be fine using DVD+R media, for anything v4 and below then stick to DVD-R

For non-DVD games, use software such as CloneCD (for 1:1 backups), CDRWin, Alcohol 120% or Nero. Tutorials available from http://psxpaul.cjb.net or from the "Backup Procedures" sticky posts on this sub-forum :)

If what you mean is "can I backup my CD game onto a DVD", the answer is not only NO, it's "why on earth would you waste more than a dollar on a blank DVD to back up a CD game???"

If what you mean is "will my system accept +R media or -R media from my DVD burner when I'm backing up DVD games", the answer is, as has been stated, -R for older consoles (and greater compatibility with newer consoles as well), +R for v4 and up... although many v4's won't do +R, and even some v5's have issues with it.

- Gurm (whose v4 plays +R just fine, thanks)

No, I am not asking if I can backup a cd game to a dvd. I do not know how the f*** you got that question out of what I asked.

Read your own question...

"How do I backup a ps2 dvd and nondvd game, also can I use dvd+r?"

Nondvd game, DVD+R... see where the confusion came from? Anyway, have we answered you to your satisfaction? Trying to be helpful here...
